Recreated and/or Revised Versions of the Official Zombicide Team Building (Survivor) Deck

ABOUT
Because professional print shops are no longer willing to print custom Zombicide cards due to copyright concerns, a new solution was needed. It was suggested that using a non-trademarked card back on the cards would allow printers to print custom Zombicide cards again.
The problem is, the new cards would have different backs then all your existing official cards. Some people solve this with opaque-backed card sleeves, but for others that is not preferred. A possible solution (for those willing) is to reprint ALL the official cards with the new backs as well, so everything would match. That meant a HUGE tasks needed to be undertaken. Someone had to remake all the official cards digitally so they could be printed. That job fell to me. It took a couple hundred hours, but while I was at it, I also made alternate modified (and I think improved) versions.
Here is part 3 of 4 of this project: Survivor Deck.
Parts 1 & 2 (Equipment Deck & Spawn Deck) have already been released.
Part 4 will be Custom Cards and will be added in the future.

DESCRIPTION
YOU ONLY NEED TO CHOOSE 1 SET OF CARDS!
There are 4 downloadable set options:
1) ORIGINAL SET: Choose this if you just want to reprint the official cards as they are. This is a faithful recreation of the official Zombicide Classic Team Building (Survivor) Deck, including Ultimate Survivors, PLUS the 22 characters missing from the official deck (GN#5, TMNT, Ghostbusters, Comic Book Extras).

2) REVISED SET: Just like the original set but with an updated look to better match the other Zombicide cards (ie removed white box behind card titles) and better placement/scaling of art and some other improvements.

3) REVISED SET + BLUE SKILLS (Requested): This is the same as the normal Revised Set, but with each character’s Blue level skills added. This could be helpful when choosing characters or you may create some rules that this feature would be useful for.

4) REVISED SET with ALTERNATE NAMES: This is the same as the Revised Set, but with alternate names for the characters. The new names are based on the person/character that inspired them. For example, “Dave” is now “Sheldon”.

Note 1: There’s of course some speculation involved in choosing the names – they don’t necessarily always reflect my opinion, but they reflect the majority of community opinions on who they are supposed to be. In some cases I used names of the actors instead of the characters they represent to avoid duplicate names. For example, “Nick” is “Bruce” as in Bruce Willis, but “Troy” is “Ash” after the Army of Darkness character he is based on instead having another Bruce (Bruce Campbell).
Note 2: These alternate names don’t do much good if your character dashboards don’t have the same alternate names. You can currently find dashboards with these names here (I plan to make additional formats available): Zombicide Discord Archive
ALTERNATE CARDBACKS
Since the original point of this project was making it possible for people to pro-print custom Zombicide cards again, non-copyrighted card backs was an essential step. A few options for alternate Seach Deck card backs have been included, just choose the one you like best. Similar options will be available for the revised Spawn Deck when that is released. The official card backs have been included here too, just because.

CUSTOM SURVIVOR DECK UNLOCK CARD
Included in each set is a custom Survivor Deck Unlock Card. Many players like to spice up their games by mixing a few Survivors into the regular search deck. The problem is, with 144 total survivors you have to choose only a few to put in the deck so that method doesn’t offer true randomization. Now you can print up a few of these Survivor Deck Unlock cards and mix them into the search deck instead. When one of these cards is drawn, you get to draw from the full (seperate) Survivor Deck.

Note 1: As these are meant to go in the Search Deck, they should be printed with the same backs as normal search deck cards.
Note 2: This Unlock Card mechanic will be reused in all my future custom card decks. I plan to make cards like this for themed equipment decks such as a Pimp Deck, Police Deck etc. This greatly reduces the size of your normal search deck and provides way more deck balance/customization options.
CARD PRINTING INFO:
This expansion comes with options for printing at home or sending to a print shop.
PRINTING AT HOME
The print-at-home versions are PDF sheets of multiple cards. Both US letter and A4 sizes are provided. A PDF sheet of card backs is also provided. All card sheets have crop (cutting) marks. Official Zombicide cards have 3mm radius corners; difficult to cut by hand. If you have access to a corner-cutter tool it will make your job easier.
USING A PRINTING SERVICE
If you can find a printshop that offers Zombicide-sized cards, you can use the printshop versions of the cards, which are saved as JPGs. Most print shops in the US seem to only provide “US mini” sized cards, which are extremely close to the official Zombicide cards; so the cards provided in this set are prepared for that format. However they will also work fine printed in the official format. The printer will typically request cards in JPG or PNG format, asking you to submit both card front and card back images. Cost depends on the printer/region of course. Typical costs are around $10 US for a 54 card deck.

TIP:
• SLEEVE your printed cards! If not you will probably be able to distinguish the slight differences in a mixed deck.
