Advent Calendar – Day 24

02/02/2025 : fixed the Objectives leading to the wrong notes in M3, and added the missing Sidekicks for M5. Sorry for the delay !

The big one, a Campaign Expansion for Marvel Zombies !

Features :

– Easy to setup, pause and continue at a later time
– Recruit over 50 Sidekicks to fight by your side against the Zombie Horde, but careful, every Hero you loose will join the undead army !
– Command SHIELD Agents on the field to help you, or to sacrifice themselves for you (being in a Zombie Apocalypse it’s probably a bad idea but… do what you want !).
– Save Civilians when you can, it might impact the campaign !
– Develop your Hero with a Skill Tree and Equipments !
– Discover over 100 Objective and Note cards and play a narrative story with different mission mechanics and choices to make, leading to multiple endings and mission conclusions!

For now, only the Part 1 is available (Part 2 should come soon) !

All the printing files are now in the drive, sorry for the delay ! I know that it’s not very printer friendly but it will have to do for now, I will try to find a way to optimize the printing (like scrambling the cards or something). Try to not spoil yourself too much while printing/cutting the cards, and have fun !

Disclaimer : I’m not a game designer and English isn’t my main language, so there are probably mistakes and typo – I’m taking every constructive feedback !

If you plan to print the files, keep in mind that it’s not the final version, some little things could change !

    • Hey ! Sadly it’s not planned at all for the near future. It’s a huge amount of work and I feel like there isn’t enough interest in the french community for that, so I’m prioritizing new content with the little time that I have now

  1. I’ve already played the game and it’s very entertaining.
But I have a doubt, in the manual it tells us to create a deck of heroes before choosing a mission, then when we choose m1a or m1x mission the sidekicks are added.
The question is which heroes can we play with, the ones in the initial deck or just the sidekicks?

Then one thing that I have seen that is wrong

In mission m3 there are 2 cards that are wrong,
    – Objective 2 if you don’t have two specific characters read note 7, because of how the notes are it should be 3.
    – Objective 3 tells us to read note 5, because of the note it should be 4.

In the m5 the sidekicks are missing.

Thank you very much for your contributions, they are great.

    • Heya ! Sorry for the delay, really busy lately and I had to reinstall all my stuff. Concerning the wrong/missing cards, it should be fixed now, thanks for your feedback !
For the other question, at the beginning you create a deck of heroes that will serve only if an objective tells you to draw a random hero for it (these random encounters are the most coherent way I’ve found to include custom characters in the campaign, for those that would want to do that). They are heroes that you don’t find normally in the campaign. If you choose M1A you start with the Avengers (so Spidey, Thor…) and you add their Sidekick card as well so you can choose them as a Bystander if you want. I hope it’s clearer, I will try to think to a less confusing way to explain that in the rules
